On December 6, 2013, Kevin Heban, Kent Murphree, and John Lewandowski spoke at the Toledo Bar Association’s annual Probate and Elder Law Seminar. The firm’s topic was “Pitfalls of probate avoidance techniques and estate litigation.”
The attorneys of HML discussed the vast array of litigation commonly found in probate court, including will contests, trust contests, guardianship contests, abuse of a power of attorney, breach of fiduciary duty, removal of an executor or a trustee, concealment of assets, undue influence of an elder/elder abuse, and the general contest of the administration of either an estate or a trust (i.e. objection to inventory or an accounting).
